About Me

News Update

Well our little family of “3” Husband, Wife, and Puppy, are now on the way to “4”. We have a little girl due this Spring, April 2012 and are so excited (and Nervous). So in addition to blogging about everything else, I can add BABY to the mix. Should be interesting as I know this little girl is going to give me a run for my money. Which I deserve because that is exactly what I did to my parents.

Short History of How I Became A Lake George Wife

My name is Christina and I live in Lake George, NY with my wonderful husband, Andrew and our 3-year-old English Black Lab, Ekko (pronounced Echo). I was born and raised in central NY by two hardworking parents and have two amazing brothers who both live in NY. I am the middle child and it’s true what they say (well in my case anyway), I am loud, crazy, stubborn, passionate, and usually the entertainment of the family, both good and bad I suppose.

I went to a small specialty high school in VT and when it came time to attend college, made my way down to Boston, where I continued to stay after graduating.

In Boston is where I became an adult and learned the most about life and all that it has to give! I was fortunate enough to have a supportive family who let me go off and “live it up” in the city. I lucked out with an amazing roommate who introduced me to new cultures, gourmet food, high-fashion, and of course red wine.

It was during my time in Boston, where I learned the most about myself; loves, passions, goals, and dreams. I lived in the small city for over 8 years, before meeting and marrying the love of my life.

I moved to Lake George, changed careers, bought a dog with my future husband, got married, and am “livin’ life” in the Adirondacks (ADK). Most days are wonderful and I feel as though I am living in a dream world. And then there are the days that are a little tough ;), but I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband, family, and friends surrounding me everyday.
